The purpose of this paper is to reveal the government's efforts to better school systems in the United States. Although the government is facing its challenges, positive steps to improve schools through reform is overwhelming. For many years, schools in wealthy neighborhoods had an advantage over schools in poor neighborhoods when comparing levels of education. Therefore, there was a sense of urgency on the government to bridge the gap between schools in affluent neighborhoods and schools in poor neighborhoods. The goal is not to improve schools in a larger area of the United States, or to improve school discipline. The aim is to improve schools across the United States.

For many years, the government tried to train school reform in low-income areas. The federal government has passed laws that forced local governments to improve schools through the district, regardless of the size of the school. There were funds for schools to improve in many areas, like mathematics, science and reading. Teachers also receive incentives to teach in low income areas to improve test scores of students'. No Child Left Behind (NCLB), schools not only challenges to be better teachers and students, but the federal government has put pressure on themselves to improve the school system as a whole.

People are focused on the negative side of government reforms to improve the school systems of the United States. The government was heavily criticized for its bias towards the formation of school systems in African-Americans and Hispanics. History has shown that the government is striving to improve the school systems in implementing reforms and hedge funds to improve the education system for all subjects. This study is to highlight the positive effects of reforms to improve student learning by giving each the same for their origin or their socio-economic status. The reforms are forcing schools to rely on the actions and resources to demonstrate that the federal government, state and local levels. The problem is that not good enough has been said about the government's efforts to improve the school system. On the contrary, many have criticized any reform. Although there is no such thing as a perfect reform, but greater good an evil.

Research will briefly mention some of the major changes in school funding in order to show the government's efforts to help close the achievement gap between students in low-income areas and students in areas with high income.

A very high percentage of students who live in low income areas are African-Americans. This is due to the history of segregation in this country. African-Americans could not learn to read, or have anything to do with books. Even African-Americans were forced to live together in culture and the status of the work was low wage jobs. These are the reasons why we are a largely African-American living in low income areas. Therefore, it is now a gap between successful students who live in low income areas, and students in high-income areas. The government is now trying to do their best to bridge the gap creation.
